Watercolor, Ages 12 and up | SPRING WORKSHOP
May 26, Sat 10am – 3pm

Learn how to paint from still life, landscape and, weather permitting, Plein Air. You will learn how to create believable illusions of space and objects, about color and glazing, about textural effects, additive and subtractive techniques. Great fun in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.

College Prep | SPRING WORKSHOP

End of Year Portfolio Review - Workshop for all Sophomore, Junior and Senior High school students interested in professional reviews from four Artists / Professors of Art. Workshop from 10:30 -11:30, will discuss how to photograph and prepare your work, matting/framing, presentation, career options. Personal portfolio reviews after workshop.

This class is designed especially young artists. We will have fun exploring many materials and methods including drawing, painting and collage. Students should bring an apron or cloths to paint in and a snack.

Oil Painting | SUMMER WORKSHOP
June 25 – 28 Mon – Thurs. 1pm – 4pm instruction, open studio till 6pm

All levels, intermediate and advanced will get a lot out of this. Professor Daniel Rice is a visiting instructor from Seattle. He teaches in a classic style. Building layers of warm and cool glazes. DON’T MISS THIS WORKSHOP. He will teach you methods you will be able to use the rest of your painting life.

Watercolor Workshop | SUMMER WORKSHOP
June 30 – July 1 Sat.- Sun. 10am – 1pm instruction, open studio till 3pm.

Watercolor Workshop (Beginning-Intermediate) In a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere, learn watercolor and how it works, learn about color, glazing, composition, creating special effects, creating believable atmosphere and details. Drawing for grades 7-10 | SUMMER WORKSHOP
July 1 – 6, (no class Wed. July 4) 9am – noon

We will have fun exploring many methods and approaches that will build artistic concepts and open creative doors. Materials include pencil, colored pencil, marker, charcoal. Projects include Line-Shape-Pattern, Drawing from Life, Perspective Drawing, Drawing the Face, Drawing from Imagination, Drawing from Perception: Space and Time. Students will leave class with a portfolio of works to be proud of.

Printmaking: Relief - Linocut | SUMMER WORKSHOP
July 1 – 6, (no class Wed. July 4) 1pm – 4pm

Learn about linocut printmaking. This is a remarkably versatile media. Plates can be printed black and white or any color. Multiple plates can also be made to layer colors or images. This class is great for ages 15 and up but can accommodate younger students with steady hands.
